Ms. Genevieve Robinson

Ms. Genevieve Robinson is a writer, marketing director, and professional development leader in the academic publishing industry. She earned her B.A. in English with a focus on writing from The Pennsylvania State University and has over a decade of experience in customer relations and marketing strategy. She currently serves as the Managing Director of Marketing for IGI Global Scientific Publishing, leading a team of Author and Librarian Relations Specialists to serve the academic community through the promotion of researchers’ work to its ideal audiences.
She has connected with librarians and research experts at academic and library conferences nationwide, including the Academy of Management (AOM), the American Educational Research Association (AERA), the American Library Association, the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL), and the Medical Library Association. She is dedicated to helping librarians make informed decisions that support their faculty and students, thereby expanding the body of knowledge and building up the next generation of experts and innovators. She has a passion for knowledge and is driven to spread awareness about research quality and ethics.
At the Open Science Education Institute, Genevieve contributes blog posts that explore the relationship between publishing innovation, research accessibility, and the challenges surrounding open access publishing.
