Prof. Courtney Mengel

Prof. Courtney Mengel is a communications strategist, educator, and publishing professional with a background in scholarly communications, digital media, and art history. She holds an M.A. in Art History from Syracuse University and currently serves as Communications Coordinator at eContent Pro, where she leads initiatives that support editorial transparency and open access publishing. In addition, Courtney teaches art history at the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, focusing on inclusive narratives and critical engagement with visual culture.
With experience in nonprofit communications, publishing operations, and higher education, Courtney brings a multidimensional perspective to open science and scholarly communication. Her work centers on empowering researchers and educators to share knowledge openly and ethically through thoughtful, accessible dissemination strategies.
